I saw these Marc by Marc Jacobs Slouch Boots
, which are new for fall, in person last weekend. It looks like you covered your feet and legs in suede drawstring bags before you put on your leather pumps. If I saw this about a year ago, I would probably not hesitate to poke fun at it. But you know, everybody is saying “Fashion is dead”, “Nothing is original anymore”, blah, blah, blah. So now, I say, these slouch boots are interesting! Just look how that model is working it. Doesn’t she look good? And think of the warmth you would get from those suede uppers. Gives you a good excuse to wear a skirt in chilly autumn weather.
